We are focused on Healthcare ICT, Paracas was established specifically to cater for the unique ICT issues that exist in the healthcare ICT. The amount of information generated while caring for a patient is huge and keeping it in paper form is not maintainable. The storage costs alone are enormous and that's before filing and retrieval costs are taken into account. Allied to that the manner and locations in which the information has to accessed and the cast iron security that must apply to a patients healthcare record, all throw up unique challenges. Finally all this must be delivered in an infection sensitive environment. You would have to go a long way to find a more demanding customer.

We have implemented solutions in all departments of various healthcare facilities dealing with such areas as standard admissions systems that collate patient demographic information, theatre management and monitoring systems to streamline the scheduling of resources as well as providing in-theatre access to electronic patient records, Radiology Dept. management systems (RIS/PACS), cardiac monitoring and automatic vital sign data gathering systems, to phlebotomy and lab test systems.
